- One truck, tight cash, no business credit: start with the Mudflap app. It’s free, so there’s no downside to adding it. Add TCS if you want a dedicated fuel card without credit.
- Drivers on your cards: AtoB’s controls (spend limits, location checks, card lock) are built for fleets.
- You want to build business credit: AtoB reports monthly to Experian.

Is Mudflap a fuel card?
Mudflap started as a free app: you pay with your own debit or credit card and show a code at in-network truck stops to get the discount, with no application or credit check. It now also offers a Mudflap Card for fleets that want credit and spend controls, accepted where Visa is.
Is AtoB better than Mudflap?
They solve different problems. AtoB is a Mastercard fuel card with spend controls, telematics fraud checks and credit building, for a monthly fee. Mudflap’s app costs nothing and needs no credit, but the discount only applies at its in-network stops. Many owner-operators use Mudflap alongside another card.
What does TCS cost?
TCS says there are $0 activation, membership, monthly or annual fees and $0 transaction fees at its 2,300+ in-network locations. It is cash-secured, so you load money first.
Which one is best with no credit?
Mudflap’s app (no credit check) and TCS (cash-secured) both work without credit. AtoB’s prepaid Unlimited card approves without bank information but asks for your EIN, driver’s license and three months of revenue.
